NOTES FROM FOSTER FAMILY:
Phoebe is a very sweet and loving little girl.  She was originally rescued from a hoarder/breeder a number of months back but just recently came into our care.  She is doing very well and is loving the attention from being in her foster home.
She is such a love and has really started showing her personality since she got here.  She LOVES to hang out on the couch, sleep in bed with her person and PLAY with toys or the other dogs!  The squeeky stuffed toys are especially fun but she is happy to join in a game of chase or wrestling if one starts up!   
Phoebe would most likely do best in a quieter adult home or a home with older children.  She does still get startled at quick movements or loud noises that she doesn't understand so having a family that can let her get used to the noises in the house and the activity of the family would be important.  She settled in here pretty quickly and has become a member our family while she waits for her own.
Phoebe will be a great companion and a very loving girl - she will just need someone to give her a chance to show them.   Senior dogs are very loving and you can tell that they appreciate all that you do for them!  Give a senior a chance - you will be happy you did! 
What Phoebe needs in a forever home:   have a secure fenced yard, someone that is home a lot and at least one other dog around her size to play with.

ADOPTION DONATION: $150
This adoption donation helps to cover the vet expenses for this dog including heartworm preventive which is dispensed at the initial vet visit and then goes with the dog at adoption. All vet records will be provided to adopter.
