Meet Duck Duck

HISTORY: One of our volunteers came across DUCK DUCK and has become quite bonded to him, but is willing to give him up if a great home comes along so he can get more attention and perhaps be around other ducks. Our volunteer thinks DUCK DUCK is a male, but was told it's better not to attempt to sex your duck (as it can be very unpleasant for all concerned).
TEMPERAMENT: DUCK DUCK is very affectionate, and definitely likes being a pet; he is also quite fond of lettuce and watermelon. Though he would probably like the company of another duck, he gets along fine with cats, and probably would be fine around gentle dogs (that wouldn't try to eat him). He is a handsome Pekin (we think) fellow with pristine white feathers.

UPDATE: DUCK DUCK's foster mom decided to keep him in December 2012.
