PICO is a 6-yr old, 18-lb cream poodle with apricot highlights. He wants to be with his humans, and doesn't like to be left alone. He loves to be petted especially behind the ears, and likes to sit in your lap and relax. He's a good watchdog as he will bark at strangers. He is a little shy until he gets to know you, then he is a real love and likes to be with you all the time.
PICO will grab at food when it is on the floor, or in the hand of a child and therefore should go to a home that doesn't have small children. He is housebroken. He gets along with other dogs too.
PICO has only one eye, and it has a condition of 'dry eye' where he has trouble making tears. As a result, his eyesight is failing and he does require eyedrops and eye washes several times a day. This can be taught to his new owner if they don't have specific experience with eyedrops in dogs. Also, he will need to see an eye doctor...
