Did You Adopt Sam?

Meet Sam

It is very hard to believe that Sam has not lost his trust in people. He was left to run wild by his previous owner and ended up in doggy jail once. She convinced the pound that she'd keep him in the house and stop letting him run around the town. Animal control suspected something was up and kept a close eye on her. It wasn't long before she skipped town and left Sam locked all alone in the house, left to die. Lucky for Sam, his guardian angels were watching out for him and were able to rescue him after determining she was gone. Sam is a giant German Shepherd. He is more than 30" at the shoulders and stands taller than a grown man. He is still very much a puppy, but is super loving and loves to play. A warning to potential adopters would be if you know anything about giant breeds or dogs bred to be giant, their life spans are considered to be potentially shorter. Please be prepared for potentially shortened life of 8-10 years. More to come as we have more adventures with Sam, or until he is adopted by his new best friends.
