Meet Buster

Buster is my name, and I am a grey and white long hair kitty about a year old. I came to the shelter on April 14, 2012 in a very fearful and timid state of mind. I shrank back when anyone tried to pet me, and my eyes were always large and round. Some of the kind staff members here think I might have been abused before I came here, I was that terrified. I have always been gentle, however, and the staff have been very patient with me and have worked to help me resolve my trust issues. They have held me in a quiet manner that makes me feel safe, and they have talked to me softly. I have responded by becoming much more relaxed and am willing to be friendly now when people come to my cage. I am still progressing, but I feel so much better now than I did before. I am hoping that a special person would be willing to help me and give me a home where I would be treated with patience and love.
