Beautiful Tansy is a young GSD just under a year old. She is bright, lively, social, and all-around wonderful. Tansy came to us a stray with a severe glaucoma in one of her eyes which was probably the result of an injury. We had the eye removed and she feels so much better! Tansy charmed all the vets at both the eye specialist and the regular vet because of her sweet nature, especially considering the pain she was in. In some ways Tansy still acts very much like a puppy that hasn't seen much of the world yet, but she is maturing and thriving in foster care. Tansy is a great pettite size for a GSD at about 50 lbs, though she may have some filling out to do.

Tansy is looking for a home that preferably has some shepherd breed experience. She is also still a puppy so will need a home with the time to devote to training and socializing. Tansy is extremely bright and eager to please so she will enjoy whatever sort of training...

Tansy loves other dogs but can sometimes annoy them with her desire to play/interact. She will need a good leader to guide her in this, but would also appreciate another playful dog in the home (though this is not a requirement of adoption.) She is currently living with a dog walker and goes out with his packs daily and romps off-leash. She does well with other boarding dogs in the home too and is getting very well socialized. Tansy is not limited by her loss of an eye. She loves to fetch, play, hang out with her people and party with other dogs. A very loyal and sweet dog, Tansy will make a great friend for the right home.
