Katey (now Ripley) Domestic Short Hair Ottawa, ON

Feb 27, 2013 - Update from Katey's family: "I wanted to send a quick update on Ripley (formerly Katey) now that she's firmly established in the family!

We just love having her around. It's hard to remember a time when she wasn't with us and she has only been here 5 months! She is definitely the perfect cat for us. She's loving and always wants to cuddle. Her favourite place to rest is on my chest when I sit on the couch (so she can cuddle AND look out the window!). She follows one of us around everywhere we go and just has to be with people. She enjoys whenever we have friends over so she can get attention from as many people as possible! She has a quite a few friends in our social circle because they just love interacting with her. She has also been wonderful with our four year old twin nieces the few times they have visited. She is a very vocal little kitty! It doesn't bother us much, but she definitely has a big personality.


I have recommended the Cat Rescue Network to everyone who will listen, and hopefully a few more clients will be heading your way later this year after they return from their honeymoon.


I have attached a few pictures of Ripley. She's growing quickly and turning into an enormous lady! About 4 weeks ago she was tipping the scale at nearly 10 lbs (although she's not overweight), so we'll be enjoying all her personality as she nearly reaches onto the kitchen counter when we prepare food. :) All the best."


Sep 16, 2012 - Katey was officially adopted today but will not be going to her new home until the beginning of Oct. We wish her good luck in her new home.


Here is Katey's story:-)  Meet Katey, a lovely little domestic short hair. She is black with a little white on her chest. Katey was born April 11, 2012 to a feral mother, in a garage. They are three of nine kittens,four of which have already been adopted.

Katey is a wonderful girl who loves to play and is always wanting to get into all her toys. She can be shy for the first couple minutes but get a toy out and she'll play with u and then u can pick her up and she loves to purr.

Katey and her siblings are anxious to find their forever home/s. Do you have room in your heart and in your home?
