Hi! This is Chloe speaking. I want to tell you that I am looking for my *forever* home. I have had to move to new homes a few times through no fault of my own, so I really want to settle down. I am the "perfect" dog, at least that is what my foster mom tells me. I guess that is because I go potty outside, don't chew up shoes (or anything else that is not mine), don't take things off the counter, rarely bark, and can stay home with the other dogs without having to be crated. And, I am also very happy, friendly and love everyone, just like a Lab should. My hobbies are playing fetch, swimming, walking, running and riding in the car. As for my affectionate side, I like to cuddle and put my head in your lap, or just lay down nearby. I would love to sleep on the bed, but have learned to sleep on a doggie bed on the floor in the bedroom. Things I don't like are thunderstorms and fireworks and sirens and that bratty little terrier that is always growling and snapping at me for no reason! She is annoying, so sometimes I growl back. My leash walking needs some work, as I want to go faster - these humans are soooo slow! Please contact janandal@sbcglobal.net if you want a loving new family member.
Animal Placement Bureau's standard adoption fee is $195. Our adoption process includes an application, personal and vet reference checks, and a home visit. We do not ship dogs under any circumstances.
We do not have a facility; all of our dogs are fostered in private homes. To view our dogs, please check our front page for the dates of our next Pet Parade. Appointments outside of Pet Parade to visit our dogs are only available after an application has been filled out, and processing has begun.
