Meet Lucky
Hi folks, my name is Lucky. I arrived at DCHS as a stray in the summer of 2009. Whoever had me before cared enough to spay me, but they never came looking for me when I got lost. But I was lucky enough to be adopted in 2009 and had a great life in a wonderful home until recently. I was returned to DCHS when my owner passed away. Now I’m just waiting for a new family to come love me. Like so many black cats, I get overlooked by adopters because I’m not as flashy as the other cats. Don’t believe the misconceptions about us black cats… we don’t bring bad luck! We are lovable furry friends who will love you forever… I would think that’d be considered good luck!
