Jake Yellow Labrador Retriever Robbinsville, NC

Hi, my name is Jake and I am a 4 year old neutered male Yellow Labrador Retriever. I LOVE to swim! My foster mom thinks I would make a SUPER dock diving dog! We just haven't had a chance to try it yet. I am up to date on all of my vaccinations and I get heartworm and flea preventatives every month. I am heartworm negative. I am a really big boy. I am a little nervous with people I don't know, but a warm and loving new owner can cure me of this. My foster mom has been working really hard with me to show me that everything is ok. She thinks I didn't get to go many places or meet new people when I was a puppy and I have a little bit of a nervous personality, so together those things make new places and new people possibly scary to me until I feel comfortable with them. I need a home with someone that is confident and won't get scared or upset if I do. I like to play fetch and chew big bones. Oh and did I mention I LOVE to swim! I would be happiest in a home with a pool or a pond or even a family who goes boating or fishing alot. I really like kids but because I am a big guy it would be best for me to live with older kids.
