Did You Adopt Buddy?

Meet Buddy

Buddy is a 5 or 6 year old Pit Bull mix that was confiscated from his owners by animal control with his girlfriend Maxi. He was found wearing a shock collar, he is very underweight and he has also tested heartworm positive. In 3 weeks he will begin his treatment and it is critical that he have a quiet and stress free environment to ensure optimal results from the medications. He likes female dogs, no cats or kids. If you can help out by temporarily fostering Buddy, please contact Heather at the shelter at 732 726-7036. Welcoming him into your home for a few weeks could literally save his life!

UPDATE: Buddy had completed and survived his heartworm treatment! He is now ready to put the past behind him and move on to a new forever home!
