Panda is a sweet American Bull Terrier Mix who's about a year old. If you are energetic, Panda is your dog. She is sweet, energetic and on the small side at about 35 pounds. She knows some manners like sit. And can play fetch for hours. She recently joined our playgroup, and while she mostly runs around the other dogs, she did greet them all with kisses. She's a volunteer favorite.
These dogs are available at Chicago Animal Care & Control -- 2741 S. Western Ave in Chicago. The shelter is open to the public every day from noon to 3, and 4 to 7. Adoptions close at 6 pm, so it's best to come in well before to allow time to meet and select your new pet. The dogs' adoption fee is $65, which includes: spay/neuter surgery, rabies, distemper and bordatella vaccines, heartworm-testing, city license, de-worming and microchip.
