Suitable For A Home With Kids: YesSuitable For A Home With Dogs: YesSuitable For A Home With Cats: Yes Flare is a Domestic Short Hair. She has a solid buff (light orange) tabby coat except for a white chest and one white paw. She has spots that make up her stripes. Very unique! Her eyes are light gold. She was born May 04, 2012, making her nearly 5 months old. She weighs 5 pounds 1 ounces (as of 11/25/12) and is expected to be a small cat when grown. She has a tiny, dainty build like her Momma Sally.
Flare's Mom Sally was surrendered by her previous owner a couple of DAYS before she whelped a litter of kittens. All orange! Sally lived outdoors among her mother, litter mates, etc. Many of which had never been handled and were feral. Sadly, only three kittens survived out of Sally's litter of five -- Flare and her brothers Blaze and Flame.
Flare is such a lover! She is the most affectionate and attentive of the litter. So photogenic, often posing with one paw up or sitting up like a meerkat when spoken to. It's impossible to not adore her sweet disposition. She absolutely loves to play and is very engaging. Flare has been handled with TLC since birth. She has been socialized with other cats, dogs and children. She has lived indoor only and uses a litter box. She would be a great addition to any loving family.
Flare has been given a clean bill of health. An adoption fee of $65.00 will help fund our rescue efforts, including the following veterinary care she has received.
