Rex-Adopted Boston Terrier Huntington Beach, CA

I've been adopted! Meet Rex, an almost 9 year old, 20 lb. Boston boy whose elderly owner can no longer care for him due to family circumstances. She was heartbroken to give Rex up but took solace in knowing that Boston Buddies would find him a wonderful forever home where he will be loved as much as he was with her. Rex is dog friendly and he did live with a cat about 6 years ago so we think he could be okay with one now. Rex is in a foster home with two other dogs and he is doing well with them and having a grand time with the family. Rex’s heartbroken owner told us he is a perfect pet – smart, intuitive, loving, gentle, obedient, loyal and easy to care for. And so far Rex’s foster mom has found all of that to be true. Rex’s foster mom says he is a sweet, sweet angel, a charmer with perfect manners, an adorable personality, a gentle cuddle monster and a heart melter. In short, Rex is getting high praise from all who meet him. He went to a picnic over the weekend and did wonderfully well and he enjoyed a day at the beach as well. Rex had a dental cleaning so his breath is now fresh and he is ready to give kisses to all! Rex’s birthday is July 12 – we can’t think of a better birthday gift than to be in a new forever home where he can celebrate! Rex is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, micro chipped and has been heartworm and fecal tested (both negative), and he’s been given a clean bill of health from our vet.
