Tinkerbell Rat Terrier & Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler Mix Scarborough, ON

Tinkerbell is a 6 year old Jack Russell/Heeler mix weighing around 24 lbs. She stands about 17 inch tall thus classifying her as a medium size dog. Thank goodness she was moved from an overcrowded animal shelter to another in Kentucky. Obviously they saw how sweet and gentle she was and knew this was not a place for her to be in.



Tinkerbell is a result of an owner surrender which is no fault of hers. She is totally housetrained and I have left her for 7 hours in the home without incident. She knows what the leash means and does pull when walking but she is learning that we are not in a hurry and to take our time. She had no problem meeting the other dogs in the home and engages in play with all of them. Tinkerbell will also going looking in the toy box and will pull out a ball or rope for a good game of tug. When it’s down time you can find her curled up on the couch beside you and at night she’ll actually want underneath the covers!



There is not much more I can say about her. She’s an absolute doll and very well-mannered and behaved dog. She is what I call “move in ready”. A perfection addition to any family home!

The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, excluding *puppies which may or may not be spayed/neutered. The adoption fee also includes, at a minimum, vaccinations, de-worming, I.D. tag and microchip insertion. We gratefully accept any amount above the adoption fee as a donation used to support our mission to save as many dogs as possible.
