Someone forgot to tell Ashes that old dogs are sedentary and mellow! This little guy is ready for action and up for adventures! He's very playful, energetic, and loving! What a fun dog!

We've had fun with this little man! He's had a dental and all his vet work. He's ready to find a home! Ashes is looking for an older home with experience with dogs and a calm environment.  We prefer a home with no children.  The activities of children may be too much for him and we do not know how he would react.

Ashes has cataracts that have reduced his vision.  It doesn't seem to have slowed him down a whole lot, though!  He is still able run, navigate his home and environment.  He enjoys going on field trips...

Ashes has had all his vaccinations, been dewormed, tested negative for heartworms and is on heartworm prevention, is neutered, microchipped and has had a dental.

Adoptive homes within the Raleigh, NC area preferred.

This dog attends Cary Meet and Greet events! Not all pets in our program attend every event. We do not arrange meetings with our pets, outside Meet and Greet events, without an approved application. If you wish to meet this pet, but do not wish to fill out an application first, please email us to find out if they will be attending the next event!

Spayed/Neutered
Tested for heartworms
Vaccinated for common canine illnesses
Vaccinated for Rabies
Dewormed
Placed on heartworm and flea preventatives

When needed, HEART provides additional vet work to bring them to an adoptable level (treatment for heartworms, surgeries, medications, behavior modification, etc.).
