"Well, who would have thought I'd end up in an Animal Shelter after spending so many years with my family but we did, yup, my beagle brother and I were dumped and boy were we ever scared! As luck would have it, the GREAT lady found out about us and drove right over to pick me up. Well, she took one look at me and said, "Emily, you gotta get to the Vet for a once over and bath" so off I went on my adventure to the Vet. I was really scared once again because I'm not very familiar with all of those things and when they put me into a crate, I was really shakin' but I found out that they were there to help me and mellowed out pretty quickly. One funny thing though, my hair on my fanny was so matted that they had to shave it so I'm very embarrassed right now but my fur is growing back in nicely so it won't be long before I'm as beautiful as ever.

Right now, I'm really enjoying my life in my foster home with their dogs. We run, play and have lots of fun and as you can see from my pictures, I love being outside and having fun in the yard. I'm also very good in the house and car and truly enjoy snuggling with my foster family as well. I'm not much on toys but give me a little sunshine and flowers and I'm one happy girl. I must admit though that I am very nervous when these summer storm s approach so I wear a Thundershirt and wow, does that ever make a differnce-plus I also look kind of cute all swaddled in this neat outfit.

As you can see, I have a lovely thick golden coat, well, you know already about my back end situation, and am in good health. My ears were kind of sore but they are almost better now. I'm also heartworm negative, spayed, current on all vaccinations, wormed and the vet thinks I'm 7 years old. As you can see, I'm a Golden mix with a happy fun-lovng personality and I'm also anxiously awaiting my new forever family.
