My name is Kayla and I am a female Swiss Mountain Dog mix. I am a very young girl who hasn't had a great start in life. I went into a very high kill shelter as a stray and was lucky to get out alive - FOHA saw how beautiful I am and arranged for my trip to Northern Virginia.
Since I am such a young girl who has not had much training, I need someone to adopt me who will work with me both on obedience training and socialization with other dogs. I have tons of energy and I love to play but I can play a bit hard, so little children are probably not a good fit. I spent a bit of time at home with a volunteer before I came to FOHA, I get the housebreaking thing and I just need some more time to sort out those inside the house stuff like stairs and mirrors.
