It is never a shock to me when one of my Wyoming clients contacts me because she has yet again befriended another cat in need; her neighbors tend to move out and leave cats behind, or adults get tossed out to fend for themselves once kitten hood has been passed - so sad. Having many pets herself, I always try to save a spot at our shelter for her latest rescue...just in case. On April 9th, Delores and her daughter brought this sturdy, strapping boy to me, a four year old (born in the spring of 2007) who had been hanging around their place for about two months. Big and healthy, this neutered fella was being well fed by the duo, but really didn't seem too happy in their household. Knowing what a gem this guy was, I was pleased we had a spot for the 14# tub of love!

Charlie Daniel is a gentle giant; I don't even think he knows HOW to hiss, as I have only heard purrs of contentment fall past his furry lips. He is a very mellow fellow who seems to enjoy the company of the other cats quite a bit, but in all honesty really just wants to claim your lap as his own. For a big boy, he sure has a sweet little face, with eyes that gaze up and you and honestly make you melt. Why anyone in their right mind would abandon such a fabulous feline baffles me, but their loss is definitely our gain, and better yet, the gain of whomever adopts him. Magnificent doesn't begin to describe Charlie!
