(In a shy, insecure voice) Hi… I’m Rachel. I tend to bark when I meet new people because humans haven’t always been nice to me. I guess that is probably why I am always passed by when people come to look at us dogs. I wish people wouldn't judge me so quickly, I'm a very good girl! I was found as a stray in late March & brought to DCHS. I was very shy and unsure of people at first, but have gotten used to meeting new friends. I have a lot of energy and enjoy long walks and playing outside. I look forward to a loving home of my own, and I really appreciate quiet environments so I hope my new family is laid-back. I enjoy being petted and giving soft kisses to my close friends. I am hoping a nice person will give me a second chance at a happy life.
