Dottie was a stray that was taken in by someone who found her and for two years she thought that she had finally found her forever home. You can image how confused she was when her owner decided that she no longer was able to take care of Dottie. Now Dottie is with us in a loving foster home where she is being spoiled!

Dottie was taken to the vet and had to have multiple teeth pulled, but is now feeling so much better and is a happy girl. She is good when riding in the car, great on leash (walks 2 miles a day!), knows most commands (sit, down, wait, stay, move-over, hush), very well-mannered and very friendly.

Dottie doesn’t really play with toys much, but she loves to play chase with her foster doggy sibling and the cats she lives with. She loves meeting new people and is fairly quiet for a sheltie.
