Fletcher German Shorthaired Pointer & Hound Mix Williamstown, NJ

Hi, I am Fletcher a pointer, maybe mixed with hound, neutered male, and weigh about 40 lb, and I am about 2 yr. old. I have my shots and I Heartworm negative!!! Yay!! I am mostly housebroken but would need a refresher course.

I used to live in North Carolina, where there are lots of dogs who need homes. I somehow ended up in a crowded shelter where everyone loved me, but they said I couldn't stay too long or it would be a sad thing. So a very nice rescue said they would take me out and send me to NJ, where the nice volunteers from West Jersey Volunteers are now my temporary family. They are trying really hard to find me a forever home so I never will have to spend anymore time in a cage.

I am a friendly dog, I love people, and like other dogs. I am a little timid at new things, but I can learn very fast. I am always wagging my tail in happiness.
I may need to learn some home manners, but I promise I will try very hard to be good, and make you proud of me. Oh and I really need a secure fenced yard, because of my breed mix, it is important.

WJVA is an all volunteer, non profit rescue.
We do not have a facility. Our animals are rescued from shelters and are in foster homes or in boarding kennels.

The adoption donation fee includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter, heartworm/l tested, wormed and frontlined. Also, some of our dogs are microchipped.
