Maxie is a wonderful dog! She is approx 3 years old. She was originally brought to a local animal control facility with her litter of puppies and all of her puppies were quickly adopted.  The Second Chance Animal Shelter then stepped up to rescue Maxie from the animal control facility.  At the time she was very skinny and not in the best of health.  Fortunately she has made a complete recovery and she is now ready to find a forever, loving family to call her own!  Maxie seems to get along well with everyone and she would truly make a wonderful family pet!  She is very gentle and sweet. 

~ Second Chance ensures that all of their adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, tested for heartworms, are current on heartworm prevention, flea prevention, are microchipped, and are given a wellness exam by a veterinarian. ~
