Purdue is an appx 8 year old Flat Coated Retriever/Newfie mix who weighs about 76 lbs. We rescued Purdue from a high kill shelter when he was surrendered by his lifelong family because he was heartworm positive. Purdue has since been treated for his heartworms and is ready to find his forever home. Purdue is an amazing older dog.....he is great with kids and other dogs, he loves to ride in the car....he is very active, not a couch potato!!!! He is great on walks and enjoys his outdoor time, but has wonderful manners in the house and is completely housebroken!!!! Purdue is neutered, up to date on shots, current on preventatives, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $125. You must complete an application before being able to visit a dog. If you expect to leave the dog alone for long periods of time, please do not consider adopting a puppy. Puppies need lots of attention and companionship. Thanks.
