THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY IN A FOSTER HOME IN PORTLAND, OREGON.
Hello! I am a sweet, smart, and loving girl! My owners must have been having a really tough time. They didn't feed me much, and eventually left me with some friends who later took me to the shelter. Now, I find myself in a foster home with two other dogs. I let my foster mom know right away that I am an affectionate and loveable girl. I get along with people and dogs really well. I am active and love to be outside on the prowl for activity in the neighborhood. That said, I must confess that I can get super focused on cats and chickens on the other side of the fence and need to be reminded to leave them alone.
I am learning to walk on a lead like a lady and potty outside. I have been busted on the sofa and surfing the counters. I happily go into my crate and sleep like a baby in there. My energy is returning with all of this good food and I run and run in the yard stopping in for pets and affection often. I know how to sit, my name, and often come when called but sometimes pretend that I can't hear a word.
I am looking for a forever home where I can settle in and finally relax. I hope that my new owners like to go for walks, spend time with me, and understand that in time I will be the best companion they have ever had!
