Shamrock is a strong, affectionate, loving cat who loves to play. She is an active cat and an excellent jumper and catcher. She does not like to be picked up but will come to you when she wants love and attention. She’ll jump on your lap and chest and make biscuits. She loves to have her jaw scratched and loves to be brushed. She’ll slither along the floor when you brush her! Shamrock loves to be in the same room as her people and will sleep on the bed with you at night. Shamrock will sometimes dominate a more submissive cat.

She does ok with dogs but really does not care for children.

Shamrock was adopted from Alley Cats and Angels when she was 6 months old and responds to the name Molly – her adoptive name of 3+ years. She was recently returned due to a death in the family and her owner could no longer afford to care for her.

Fully vetted: tested for FeLV/FIV (negative unless otherwise noted); treated for intestinal parasites, fleas, and ear mites; FVRCP+FeLV vaccinated (initial vaccination and booster); and rabies vaccinated; spayed/neutered; microchipped with Home Again microchips with rescue paid registration.
