Fiona has been so misunderstood. She keeps trying to tell us that the store is not where she belongs and we would have to agree. She has so much energy and ZOOM ZOOM ZOOM she doesn't know what to do. She knows there is someone out there that can keep up with her and will love her all the deeper for it. She has a great personality and is friendly and out going, but it does take her some time to relax and settle into a new enviroment - which is understandable considering she thought she already HAD a forever home. Fiona is a cat that will need to "get to know" her new family, so she needs a patient home, without small children who don't know how to interpret cat signals. Since Fiona prefers to be the boss, she would be best with either a younger cat/kitten or a less dominant cat that will let her be in charge.  She's the type of cat that will randomly surprise you by jumping into your lap to snuggle when you least expect it, but because she gets over-stimulated quickly, she needs an experienced cat owner that understands her quirky personality and appreciates her for the unique cat that she is.  Fiona doesn't understand the need for sitting in a cage at adoption events - she gets fed up quickly with the many humans wanting to touch her (wouldn't you?) so her true personality doesn't come out.  She's a candidate for the foster-to-adopt program, which gives approved adopters a chance to foster her while she gets ample time to adjust - just what she needs to give someone the chance to fall in love with her!
