Athena is a 1 year old purebred Treeing Coonhound. Her and her sister were going to be drowned by their breeder/owner when he couldn't sell them as puppies. Athena is healthy and ready to become your new best friend. She'll go jogging with you in the morning and watch TV with you in the evening. She is current on all of her vaccinations and de-worming. Athena was adopted out several times. The first time she reportedly attacked their smaller dog during breakfast and the second time she reportedly nipped at male family members. Athena was bred to hunt, covering large tracts of land to tree her quarry. We are unfortunately able to house her in conditions suitable to provide her with the vast amount of exercise she needs to be mentally and physically satisfied. We are convinced that this is the major source of her attitude but we are recommending that she be placed in a home with no small dogs or cats.
