Meet Jake

Hi, my name is Jake. I am a Black Mouth Cur mix, and I was born about January 2010. I weigh 50 to 60 pounds. I get along well with certain dogs. Not sure about cats. I have heard the volunteers describe me as a "big bear" with a very soft coat. I do like to rough-house, and I would like to learn more commands than I know now. I want to be inside a home with people (or a person) who will give me chores, fun and games, love, and attention. I also like to go for walks and to play with my friend Lena (she's at the sanctuary too). So, what do you say? Why not come meet the "big bear" and take me home?
