Smudge has lived with his owner most of his life. Now the owner finds herself traveling extensively for work and then flying to another State to care for her elderly mother. Smudge is very sad and depressed with just a caretaker coming in to feed him once a day. The constant interaction he has been use to is gone. The owner has reached out to Purebreds Plus knowing that we will be able to find Smudge a great home since she knows she no longer give him what he needs. Currently Smudge is getting over a Urinary Tract Infection, made more difficult by his owner not being around.

Cornish Rex's cats are loving, friendly, very active and comical cats. They love their heating pad, or a warm chest to snuggle against. Some Cornish Rex will even climb down your sweater to warm themselves against your tummy.

Smudge lives with his brother, Smoke. They can be adopted together or separately as their owner believes they are not bonded with each other. The two have become very competitive for the owners attention when she is home. The owner is not sure how Smudge gets along with dogs, but why would anyone need a dog if they have a Cornish Rex? Also note that Smudge needs to be on a high quality diet to maintain his urinary tract health.

We are happy to help you if you need to rehome your purebred cat. Often, we can offer advice if your cat is having behavioral problems, and you may end up keeping the cat. We do NOT ship cats. We will place cats out of area but you must arrange to come and meet your new friend in person.
