Prancer Golden Retriever & Labrador Retriever Mix Jacksonville, FL

" Hi there, my name is Prancer and I am NOT one of Santa's reindeer! I sure don't look like one and I can't fly either but I can run really fast when I want but most of the time I just like to snuggle and cuddle! I'm about 8-9 years old which means that I'm calm enough to hang out when you want to but ready to go when you want to go outside for a walk.

My foster Mom says I'm a good boy and probably a Golden/Lab or a Goldador as they say today in the dog world. I like to go for walks and love to chase the ducks in the pond- It's so much fun but I never hurt them-just get excited to see them. After all, I am a retriever!! I don't really like to play fetch but will play with tennis balls and other toys. I'm also a good foot warmer as I love to lay in bed at night and be a bed hog if someone lets me. Don't worry about my appetite, it's the best but I can't eat chicken or wheat because they say I'm allergic so I eat dog food with Salmon or Beef and wow, that's so good!

I get along with dogs of all sizes and shapes and also find cats fascinating. I don't chase or bother them-just like to watch. I like children but would rather be in a home with just adults or teenagers because I'm an older gentleman and like to catch my ZZZZZZ's from time to time!.

So, I know you want to know all about my health so here goes-I'm perfect!! I'm current on all vaccinations, heartworm negative, neutered, wormed and have a sparkle in my eyes!! I had some hot spots recently but they are healing nicely so GREAT Rescue and my foster family all say I'm ready to go!!
