Meet Biscuit
Biscuit and his twin brother Marvin were adopted from Lapcats in 2012 in what seemed to be their forever home but life circumstances forced their adopter to return them to us and they are waiting in foster care for another chance. Hopefully third time will be a charm (they were rescued by Lapcats from the shelter so that was #1). Laser lights, cat nip, and feather wands are favorites. Biscuit is a total cuddle bug and more mellow than Marvin. Marvin is ready for action. Biscuit rolls over and says "you go play, I'm waiting for some love!" He gives headbutts and kisses and purrs really loudly when he gets attention. He enjoys being held, having his belly rubbed and being brushed (which he will need). They are both acclimating to foster care and are a bit shy but when you call to them, they roll over and ask for love and when you give it to them, they eat it up. They could/would like to be adopted together but it is probably not a deal breaker at this point. They are between 1-2 years old.  If you are interested in meeting him please fill out an online application.Â
SCACR-LAPCATS are either being fostered by a volunteer, in the Adoption Center at PetSmart, 8215 Laguna Boulevard, Elk Grove or at the Sacramento County Animal Shelter 3839 Bradshaw Rd. in Sacramento. They are spayed and neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, have tested negative for FELV/FIV, treated with a flea preventative, have been de-wormed and are micro-chipped. The $100.00 adoption fee also includes a county license for Sacramento County residents, a free office visit with a participating veterinarian and other complimentary items. If you are interested in a LAPCAT please visit our web site at www.LAPCATS.org and fill out/submit an online application. For more information email: Lapcatsrescue@comcast.net OR call 916-247-(CATS) 2287.You can also visit our website at www.lapcats.org, and/or the Sacramento County Animal Shelter's website at www.saccountyshelter.net to see other pets available for adoption.
