Meet Sassyfras. This gorgeous girl was recently turned into a high kill shelter in the south along with her sister. Sassyfras is a sweet and loving dog who is just 1 year old. She's got a fantastic personality. This lovely girl would love to find a home and person/family of her own.

She needs a foster home or adopter. Can you provide her with the home that she desires? She is ready to meet you. Won't you apply today?

The adoption fee for this dog is $275, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. This fee INCLUDES spay/neuter. If the animal you are adopting is not already spayed/neutered, you will be required to sign a contract legally obligating you to have the animal altered. ***Note that puppy adoption fees most often help generate revenue that goes towards older, special needs animals that need our help. Surgeries, heartworm treatment, boarding costs....all things that often result in adoptable dogs and cats being left behind to be euthanized. So adopting a puppy saves not just one life, but many!

If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out our dog adoption questionnaire and e-mail it to maritae@rocketmail.com. Thank you for contacting Homeward Trails Animal Rescue and helping to save a life!

Be sure to ask us about getting a free 30-minute phone consult with a professional dog trainer within the first 30 days of adopting - just for HT adopters. Start your new dog out on the right foot with this valuable, expert advice and guidance FREE!

You can save animals like this one by becoming a foster! Fosters are like way stations between high kill shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save dogs before they are euthanized at the shelters. If you are interested in becoming a foster, please check out our information about fostering.
