Sterling is a dashing gentleman with soft, luxurious grey fur. Though he's recovering from a badly broken back leg (he has a slight limp), that doesn't stop him from going up and down the stairs or--most importantly--jumping up on the bed so he can wake you up. His foster mom thinks he must be part rooster, because he loves to find her first thing in the morning and rub his head on her face to say, "Rise and shine!" Sterling likes to spend his days snoozing on the couch and playing with toy mice and feather wands.



Sterling was taken in after his owner could not afford the high medical costs for his leg and their landlord said the cats must go (his owner did seek treatment for his leg and did all they could, it was with much regret that they had to give him up).




Fully vetted: treated for fleas, ear mites, and intestinal parasites, tested for FeLV/FIV (negative unless otherwise noted), spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccinations (including FVRCP+FeLV [initial vaccination and booster] and rabies), and microchipped with Home Again microchips with shelter paid registration.
