Rizzo (Operation Sweethearts) Poodle Thompson's Station, TN

Rizzo is an appx 5-6 year old female black Poodle who currently weighs about 10 lbs. Rizzo was one of nearly 100 dogs rescued from the ARC Operation Sweetheart raid in Wingo, KY on February 14, 2012. Rizzo was a matted mess when she was rescued....her eyes were so matted together that she couldn't see anything at all. As the mats were cut away and she could see the face of the volunteer looking at her, the relief just expelled from her chest. This is one of the sweetest girls ever. She had major surgery to remove mammary masses and was also spayed, so she should live a happy healthy life. Rizzo would love nothing more than to just be someone's lap dog....she does great and enjoys the company of other dogs, but would be fine as an only dog as long as she wasn't left alone all day long. She is great with all people, a little shy at first....but so sweet and also, super quiet, not your typical yapster!!!! Her adoption fee is $125, she is spayed, has had a complete dental, is up to date on shots, current on preventatives and microchipped.

If you expect to leave the dog alone for long periods of time, please do not consider adopting a puppy. Puppies need lots of attention and companionship. Thanks.
