Name: Jerzy. Arrival Date: February 29, 2012. Gender: Female (will be spayed prior to adoption). Breed: Domestic Long Hair (solid orange tabby). Birthdate: February 29, 2009 (approximately). Current Weight: lbs oz (as of 04/08/12). Estimated Adult Weight: N/A. Suitable For A Home With Kids: Yes. Suitable For A Home With Dogs: Yes. Suitable For A Home With Cats: Yes. Jerzy is a Domestic Long Hair possibly mixed with Persian. She has a solid orange tabby coat and big gold eyes. Her coat is very soft and plush! She was born approximately February 29, 2009, making her 3 years old. She is a small or medium sized kitty weighing lbs oz full grown.
Jerzy was surrendered by her previous owner a couple of weeks before she whelped five kittens (all orange!). She lived outdoors among her previously litter(s), many of which had never been handled and were feral. All of her kittens have been adopted but she is still seeking a forever family.
Jerzy may have the sweetest disposition of any kitty we've ever known! She was frightened when rescued and yet never once so much as growled or hissed. It wasn't long before she was enjoying having her coat brush and, not long after, seeking attention while purring loudly. Although she previous lived outdoors, she very quickly adjusted to living as an indoor companion animal. That includes immediately mastering the use of a litter box. She shows no interest in venturing back outdoors. Jerzy happily coexist with other cats, dogs and children. She may be a little shy but, given the chance, would be a great addition to any loving family.
Jerzy has been given a clean bill of health. An adoption fee of $45.00 will help fund our rescue efforts, including the following veterinary care he has received.
Veterinary Examination. Feline Leukemia/Felina Immumodeficiency Virus (FIV) combo test. Feline Leukemia/Felina Immumodeficiency Virus (FIV) combo vaccination. Rabies Vaccination. Microchip.Spay surgery.
