Meet Pot Roast

Pot Roast was born to a little jack russell terrier that showed up at the vet clinic unwanted and pregnant. She is one of seven puppies born on Halloween night, so she is 22 months old now. The puppies were very different, some being 12 to 15 pounds, but little Pot Roast grew to about 35 pounds. Her dad might have been a boxer, but from her looks there might have been some basset in the mix, too. She was given her unusual name by a child in the family who fostered her. All of the other puppies were adopted, but Pot Roast was left behind. The family didn't have the heart to take her off to the pound, but their other dogs are tiny. Pot Roast loves the little Yorkies, bichons, and miniature dachshuds, but she's playing a little too hard for them. She needs friends of her own size with whom she can safely romp and play. She can run like the wind and loves to run, but she must stay in the confines of a small yard for her own protection. She is a calm dog, very reserved, with beautiful brown eyes. She has been spayed, is up-to-date with all of her shots, and has had her dew claws removed. She has been given a good start in life, but she needs her "happily ever after" home.
