And now, a few words from me: They say that "Aries" is the first sign of the Zodiac; a sign of a born leader but I think I am more of a cuddle-bug than anything else! I have been well loved and cared for by my family who adopted me when I was a puppy from a Humane Society. Fortunately they had a cute baby boy who I love more than anything (see my picture above!) but unfortunately he is very allergic to me....which means that mom and dad have trusted LOYAL Rescue to find me the bestest new forever home....so if you're out there and reading this please don't wait for the sun and the moon and the stars to align - just go ahead and submit your application today because I CAN'T WAIT TO MEET YOU! 

And now, a few words from my foster mom:  Aries is a gal that likes to have fun! She adores playing with dogs (of all sizes) and is also good with cats too. She is energetic and playful and would do well in an active home that enjoys walks and spending time outside. Now while she likes to play hard, she also "loves" just as hard too often wanting nothing more than to curl up and snuggle on the couch with you!!!! As you can see from the photos provided from her previous home from the summer, she is really great with kids! Aries is housetrained and stayed in the spare room of the house when her family went out.

 

From a vetting perspective Aries is a very healthy girl. Her last check up was February 2012 - she is spayed and up to date with her vaccinations. We would like to share that when Aries was 3 years old, she started having some issues with her anal glands. The vet suggested changing her food to a more basic chicken and rice kibble diet and since switching her food, Aries hasn't had any issues with her anal glands, but as a proactive measure its best that she go to the vet every 4-5 months just to make sure they are draining properly. This cost is minimal (approximately $120 per year).

Aries' owners have provided her toys and crate which will be passed along to her new adoptive home.
