Emily ~ foster home 6/18 Pit Bull Terrier Dearborn, MI

Take a look at Emily's sweet face, and tell us you can resist this sleek, black pup!  Emily was found wandering out in the cold early last year, when she was just a tiny thing, and was brought to the shelter by a kind passerby. This pit bull terrier mix now is 1 year old (12/23) and weighs about 35 pounds. In her second photo, she's all dressed up and awaiting visitors, and in the third, she's showing her best smile!

Her foster mom says that Emily is full of spunk and personality. Emily is a very friendly girl and loves to give puppy kisses. She loves all kinds of toys, and "fetch" is her favorite game. Emily is a smart pup and is attending obedience class. She has learned the commands "sit" and "down" and is learning how to walk nicely on a leash. She enjoys rides in the car and walks through the neighborhood. Emily shares her foster home with cats, dogs and older children. She gets along wonderfully with all of them. Emily is also house-trained and crate-trained, and she has been spayed. Because she is a pup, Emily can still be a bit mouthy, so we recommend a home with children 12 years and older. Emily is a real sweet girl and will make a wonderful forever friend! Because Emily is a pit bull mix, she qualifies for our lower Luv-a-Bullz adoption rate.
