Meet Charlie

Charlie is a female guinea pig who was born in ~ 2010. She has a super sweet personality. She's a little nervous within the first minute of being picked up, but quickly starts chortling/cooing and nuzzling her head under her foster mom's chin and becomes relaxed. She will let you know if she's nervous, but she gets over it... we think she will quickly trust anyone who treats her right. She has a good nose and ears, is really curious to find out about other pigs, and likes to stick her nose in the air and smell whatever she happens to be curious about. She has a great appetite, and has eaten everything we've given her. Charlie came to the rescue with a past injury. Her four legs had been previously broken and they re-healed awkwardly prior to relinquishment. While they did heal awkwardly, she can move around quite well. Her back legs drag a bit when she walks but the front ones are strong and she doesn't appear to be in pain. Charlie likes to spend time in her pigloo, but also seems to enjoy all of the hay in her cage. She just dives right in and starts eating. All in all, she is a really sweet piggy. She is genuinely grateful for all of the love she gets and she will be a great addition to a loving home! We do consider her special needs because of her legs.

Charlie is a foster piggie of West MI Critter Haven. Her adoption fee is $20. She is fostered near Ann Arbor. For more information on adopting Charlie please contact us. Adopters must be at least 18 years old.
