And now a few words from me: Hi there, I'm Carter and a Mr. and I've just moved to Ontario from Ohio .  I was in a mill there.... (terrible place, let me tell you)... my Foster Mum thought I was a miniature light fawn coloured sheepdog though it said I was a poodle when she first saw me as my fur was so thick over my eyes you couldn't even see them. Also because, at that time, I was very sheepish in nature.  However after some very careful grooming, I was very nervous, she came to discover that I looked like a Bichon Frise, Now that I can see, I've come out of my shell and have started to play with my other foster brothers and sisters.  I just LOVE to play and I just cannot wait until I get to go to another place she called my forever home.  I hear it's the ultimate place of love and affection; I can promise I will give back 100% for forever.  Just so you know, I get along very well with other dogs and I'm loving this new thing called "going outside" it's amazing! I've learnt how to go up and down stairs (not as easy as it looks) but I'm told I'm brilliant so I believe it. I think I have got this thing called house-training under control too, just let me out and I will do my part.  I'm really happy that LOYAL helped me immigrate to Canada , it's wonderful to be here. If you know you are my forever home ultimate place of love and affection, please fill out the application right away, one of the LOYAL reps will be in touch with you shortly.

And now a few words from my foster mom:   Carter deserves an award for most improved dog in such a short time. He came to us 3 weeks ago, very scared and not used to a leash. Now he loves to go out for walks and enjoys taking treats out of your hand. He is a sweet boy who loves to be stroked and petted and sit on your lap. He really likes a brush too. He is about ready for a spa treatment and then he would be an even prettier boy. He is still nervous of loud noises but improves every day and is getting more and more inquisitive and checking out the couch to see if he can jump up! He has picked up house-training really well. Never has a potty accident and seems to be able to hold himself for a long time until he goes out. He is good with other dogs in the house but a bit nervous of bigger dogs when we go out. He will need a home that will show patience as he settles in and gives lots of encouragement. He really is a SMART boy and has learned many commands, like UP, (he likes to be picked up), WALK, LEASH, TREAT, and has the cutest face when he is trying hard to understand what you are saying. It will be a lucky family, preferably with older children, if any as he is still scared of sudden noises, who has Carter and he will be a lucky boy to get a forever loving home. One that he deserves. He will show a lot of love that is for sure.
