Meet Stanton (Atlanta)

I LOVE HAPPY ENDINGS AND THIS BOY WILL MAKE HIS FOREVER HOME WITH THE MCCARTHY FAMILY WHO HE WAS FOSTERED WITH...STANTON FELL IN LOVE WITH THEIR 16 YR OLD SON, WRAPPED HIS PAWS AROUND BARB'S HEART AND THE REST IS HISTORY. THANK YOU BARB FOR THE WONDERFUL JOB THAT YOU DO WITH SO MANY OF OUR FOSTERSThis is Stanton!
This beautiful and charming boy is 11 years young and is a purebred CARDIGAN WELSH CORGI.His outstanding breeding and conformation shows. He is being fostered in Marietta Ga and we will be selective in finding a forever home for this sweetheart..

We saw his photo and fell in love....a face that launched a thousand ships.

Stanton is initially shy, warms up quickly and will melt your heart with his sweet smile and goofy antics. This big boy loves my teenage son. Stanton follows him around like a puppy with his ear-to-ear grin and wagging tail.

Stanton is 100% house trained, is a dream walking on lead, up-to-date on all of his shots and on monthly heartworm and flea/tick meds. Stanton was diagnosed with Progressive Retinal Atrophy and has doesn't see as well at night, unless Mom cuts up the lights. This disease is NOT painful, no medications and normally the progression to total blindness is slow. Read more about it here:

Stanton is good with cats and other dogs. Since coming to our home, he has started playing with our 1 year old corgi foster. To see him bounce around the room with his tail in the air, you would never guess this guy is almost 11 years old. He is in very good health for a senior (although I don't think he considers himself to be a senior). He loves to sit on the sofa and watch TV with you or walk to the mailbox.
Stanton is a kind gentle soul and is sweet, sensitive and full of love. He would do best in a home with children over 9 years and would be fine in a home with another dog. Stanton can only be placed within 200 miles of Atlanta, GA.
