Mr Green Dachshund Utterson, ON

What’s up! My name is Mr. Green – kinda funny, right? I’m a 1.5 year old, blue and tan long-haired little man. I am tiny at about 10 lbs and am virtually hairless on my body, besides my little skirt! I am up-to-date on my vaccinations and neutered; I’m just looking for that special someone to love me for me!

I was released from a puppy mill and I ain’t never looking back. I am very sweet and cute, so says my foster ma! I like playing with other doggies, women and kids who are kind to me but I am just absolutely terrified of men! I will tense up, freeze or run to hide. I will need a woman-only home or in a home where the man of the family has lots of patience and is willing to work really hard to gain my trust! Foster mom says I am super snuggly and affectionate! I am learning about crate training and leash training but please have some patience with me! Mr. Green is absolutely darling, loving and affectionate! He is oh so adorable too! However, being born into a puppy mill and spending the first year and a half of his life in a cage has left some scars on the sweet boy. He is so terrified of men and if there are going to be men in his life they will need to be incredibly patient, understanding and committed to working with Mr. Green. He also will need continual work on his housetraining as this is completely new to him.
