Asher Basenji & Shepherd Mix Ballwin, MO

"Asher" means "Fortunate, Blessed, and Happy", and that is exactly what Asher is!  He is a happy-go-lucky dog with the most beautiful orange/red coat!  He is 1 year old and had a rough start in life.  He was found by one of our volunteers in North STL and she watched in horror as he was hit by a car!  The car drove away as if nothing had happened, but our volunteer swiftly scooped him up into her car and took him immediately to the vet.  Luckily he was okay, just some bruising!

Asher is a medium-sized dog (just under 50 pounds) that absolutely LOVES people, other dogs, and even does well with cats!   He is already house trained, crate trained, and leash trained, and is doing great with learning basic commands.  He would do perfectly in any home!

Our adult dog adoption fee is $150.00 which includes worming, flea treatments, age-appropriate vaccinations, heart worm testing and preventative, spay/neuter, rabies vaccination, and a microchip with free registration.

Puppies/dogs must be inside pets and returned to St. Louis Pet Rescue if you need to rehome them.

The adoption process includes an interview, application, adoption contract and home visit.
