Finn was found by some firefighters in MD on Christmas Eve 2011. Being in a shelter isn't a great way to spend the holidays! He was rescued and placed in a Bethesda foster home on 2/1/12. Something spooked him and he bolted away from his new foster. Exactly 6 months to the day, Finn was found safe and captured 10 miles away in Rockville, MD.

Upon his return to HT, Finn was placed in boarding and then found a loving foster home.  Everyone has worked hard to show him all the love that he's been missing. Their efforts have paid off - Finn is doing great.

Finn is a friendly boy who wants someone to give him a chance at a new life. He likes to play with toys. His favorite toy is a ball and he has a fake stick that he chews on in the evenings. He has learned his leash manners and walks on the leash very nicely.

He likes other dogs and has learned proper social etiquette when playing with them. Finn  was cat-tested and passed.  The skin and coat issues that he picked up from the poor diet and outdoor living while he was on the run have all healed. He is now the handsome guy hewas always meant to be.

The adoption fee for this dog is $275, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. This fee INCLUDES spay/neuter. Our adult animal fees range and are based on: fees we pay to shelters, vetting costs, transport costs, and boarding costs. Some animals cost more than others to rescue, so that is why our fees range from $275-$350.
