Blue is approximately 1 year old and a Pit Bull Mix. He is very short and stout, but he is a large boy and weighs in at 60 pounds.

Blue has been vet checked, vaccinated, neutered, heartworm tested negative, and is microchipped. When Blue first arrived to rescue, he was positive for demodex mange -- his treatment is complete and it has been successful. Blue is also up to date on his flea/tick/heartworm preventatives as well.

Blue has been introduced to other dogs and he does well with them! He is a bit clumsy, so sometimes he overwhelms the smaller ones, but if they tell him to back off, he does. Blue is also currently living with cats....

Blue is also currently living with cats. Occasionally he will chase them for fun, and this does upset the cats, but Blue stops.

Blue has been introduced to people of all ages and does wonderful. He is a happy wiggly boy and his tail is his biggest weapon. He's clumsy and just so happy but has been around children of all ages on a regular basis and had no issues. Blue is a smart but stubborn boy. He can be very independent and have selective hearing at times. Blue has been learning come, sit, kennel, and outside. Blue is kennel trained and housetrained. Blue will go to the door when he needs outside. Blue has a low energy level and prefers not to do a lot of physical activity, but it's very important to keep his mind active or he will get bored and chew!

Blue's adoption donation fee is $200.00 with approved application.
