Molly Brown * Adopted :) Pit Bull Terrier Mix Morehead, KY

2/15/12 Molly is coming along nicely on her dog/dog manners. She has made friends with one of the resident dogs & will even play for a few quick minutes. 02/03/12 Looking for a couch potato to keep you company? Is low maintenance at the top of your requirement list? Molly Brown could be the girl for you! Her favorite activities include giving big sloppy kisses, napping & anything else that she does not have to get in a hurry about. She prefers short walks & long snuggle sessions. Molly Brown is working on her dog/dog manners & would do best as an only dog. We will continue to update her progress with this. 1/20 update: We think Molly is just fat. We are begging people out there to consider adopting this girl. She adores people!

1/8/12 Molly Brown looks pregnant. If rescue is not found she will have to be PTS as nobody will take pit-bull adults or puppies. We've had some in foster care already since September and they are mixes! HELP

Molly was picked up as a stray in the US 60 East area on 12-29-11. She is definitely friendly and good with people. She is also a very pretty chocolate color with white markings, and one blue eye. Molly looks to be a pit bull mix, and is not very tall. She is currently in Pen #2, and probably weighs 40-45 lbs.

Dogs in the Rowan County K-9 Shelter receive their first dhppl vaccination (parvo/distemper) upon arrival at the pound. Rabies vaccine and spay/neuter surgery can be done for the $50 adoption fee. Please note rabies vaccine and surgeries are NOT done on site and dogs must be adopted before they receive rabies vaccine or surgery.
