Hunter Black Labrador Retriever & Beagle Mix Delhi, NY

What a handsome boy this Hunter is! What soulful eyes! And in the words of our Director "This is a GREAT dog!".

Hunter is 1 year old and is mostly Black Lab with a little Beagle thrown in. He is friendly and affectionate, loves to be petted and brushed. He is a very playful boy who likes to keep active.

His previous owners brought him to us because they said he was "slow to adjust". But truth is they didn't have the time to give Hunter that he needs to be the great pooch we know he is.

Hunter seems most comfortable around women and hesitant around small children. He doesn't care for the company of cats but likes other dogs.

Hunter would thrive in a home that can give him the guidance, love, exercise and care he needs to be a fabulous companion.
