Meet Blue
If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out our dog adoption questionnaire and e-mail it to meinzerh@gmail.com.
I'm a fun, toy-loving goofball. My name is Blue because of my gorgeous blue eyes. But I'm so silly that my friends at the Alexandria shelter started calling me "Bloopers"! I like both names, so you can call me either one.
I'm a neutered male Jack Russell Terrier and Bull Terrier mix. At about one year old, I'm still pretty energetic and I like to find mischief. But my beautiful blue eyes let me get away with a lot of things! I have some hearing deficiency, but that doesn't stop me from learning and enjoying life. I need a home where I can get lots of exercise and playtime. I'm good with other dogs and right now kindly sponsored by Wag More Dogs in Shirlington where I'm hanging out until a foster or adopter comes along. Migh that be you??

The adoption fee for this dog is $300, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. This fee INCLUDES spay/neuter. If the animal you are adopting is not already spayed/neutered, you will be required to sign a contract legally obligating you to have the animal altered. ***Note that puppy adoption fees most often help generate revenue that goes towards older, special needs animals that need our help. Surgeries, heartworm treatment, boarding costs....all things that often result in adoptable dogs and cats being left behind to be euthanized. So adopting a puppy saves not just one life, but many!
If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out our dog adoption questionnaire and e-mail it to meinzerh@gmail.com. Thank you for contacting Homeward Trails Animal Rescue and helping to save a life!

You can save animals like this one by becoming a foster! Fosters are like way stations between high kill shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save dogs before they are euthanized at the shelters. If you are interested in becoming a foster, please check out our information about fostering.
