Age/Gender: 22 months, Female
Breed: Purebred Dachshund (AKC)
Temperment: Outgoing, friendly, sweet
Weight: ~25 lbs, although that's a bit high given her breed
House Training: Good!
Crate Training: Good, she and Otto currently sleep and eat in separate crates.
Other Dogs: Good!
Cats: Good!
Children: Dog-respectful children, 8 and older
Adoption Donation: $375 alone or $675 total if adopted with her pal, Otto.
Health: Mina is healthy, albeit a little curvy so she could probably stand to lose a couple of pounds. She is spayed, microchipped, flea treated, dewormed, and is current on vaccines. Your adoption donation goes toward the cost of this vet care as well as transportation and general care costs. In addition, all pets adopted from Motley Zoo come with 30 days of free pet insurance provided by Shelter Care. 

History: Mina and Otto were surrendered due to their former family needing to move. Motley Zoo Animal Rescue was asked to find her a great forever family and that is exactly what we plan to do!

Notes from Mina's Foster Home: Mina is a sweet, gorgeous girl! She is very friendly and has a wonderful personality. She is a people dog who loves cuddling in your lap. She has lived with Otto since she was 6 weeks old so we'd love to find them a home together if possible. Mina seems to be alpha as Otto lets her walk all over him. :) Mina is AKC and we have her papers. Both dogs will make great pets, they were obviously well loved and well cared for and they can't wait to find their new forever homes!


All dogs adopted from Motley Zoo come with a leash and either a Martingale collar or a harness, depending on each dog's particular needs.
